Dr. Erica Peters Finan offers specialized psychotherapy services tailored to address the unique mental health needs of women. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Interventions to support clients in building resilience and achieving meaningful, long-term change.
Dr. Erica Peters Finan earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Vermont and completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical practice, she has conducted extensive research on the effects of cannabis and cannabidiol (CBD) on women’s health, further deepening her understanding of the complexities of mental and physical well-being.
With a compassionate and evidence-based approach, she empowers women to navigate life’s challenges with strength and confidence. Her practice is built on the belief that therapy should be a supportive and collaborative process, help individuals gain insight and develop coping skills, and guide people toward lasting emotional well-being.
